Announcement of KCC Unicorn Contest’ Community Voting
Dear Users,
We are sorry to inform you that, according to a report from the community and discussions with KCC Unicorn Contest Top 10 projects, judges, and KCC DAO, Community Voting for the Top 5 Projects of KCC Unicorn Contest will be suspended.
KCC Unicorn Contest is KCC’s first on-chain incentive event in 2022, aiming to discover and support high-quality projects on the KCC ecosystem from different aspects. To ensure the fairness and transparency of the results, we even invited several judges from well-known organizations in the crypto industry to conduct a multi-dimensional assessment on the participating projects. We also grant the final decision of the Top 5 awards, and some independent awards to KCC Community Members, who have the chance to vote for their supporting and most valued projects.
Unfortunately, due to our mistakes, the initial configuration of the snapshot proposal type is incorrect. The final result fails to show the Top 5 Projects voted by our users.Click to view the snapshot voting system.
Meanwhile, we found some evidence of abnormal on-chain behavior. It contradicts the purpose of our event and voting fairness. Therefore, after our joint discussion, we will suspend this Community Voting for the Top 5 Projects at 4:00 AM on May 17, 2022(UTC). All voting results so far will not be used as the basis for the final awards of the KCC Unicorn Contest.
In addition, voting rules will be updated. Details will be announced within a week. Thanks for your continued support of KCC. Due to the mistake in setting the proposal, we will prepare corresponding compensation for users who participated in this voting. The compensation details will be issued later.
Note:
1. Projects participating in the Community Voting of Unicorn Contest are requested to abide by the rules of the voting. KCC GoDAO reserves the right to disqualify those who violate the rules, and violators will be publicly announced.
2. The KCC Unicorn Contest is in accordance with the KCC Unicorn Carnival Week. As the Top 5 votes of the KCC Unicorn Contest will need to be recounted, some data from the KCC Unicorn Carnival may be unavailable, prize distribution will be postponed.
