AMA Recap DEXTools & KCC
KCC hosted an AMA（Ask-Me-Anything）session with DEXTools’ Co-founder and CMO：Frederic. The main topic was integrating KCC on DEXTools, but we also answered other questions for the community. If you missed the AMA, you may check the full transcript here.

I´m especially happy to host those great spaniards that are running one of the most used crypto projects in the world!

Frederic:
As Jota said, I am Frederic, CMO and Cofounder of DEXTools. I started in crypto in 2017 as trader and investor. Crypto quickly became from being a hobby to a passion and later a full-time job as trader. I learned a lot and improved.
In 2020 with my partner Javier, we started DEXTools as a help for all traders to survive and make it easier to invest in the new DEFI markets that were growing at that moment, with Uniswap being the most important one at that moment.
Almost 2 years after that, we have 20 million users per month and one of the biggest communities in DEFI, and for us, this is still the beginning.
Juanma:
Awesome. So if at the moment if 300 million are the total worldwide users, you have the 6% of all.!!!!
Can you please share what DEXTools is about and why it is unique?
Frederic:
DEXTools is an app for traders and investors in decentraliced markets that gives a lot of information directly pulled from the blockchain, we translate it and display it in a friendly user interface so people can follow their investments.
With DEXTools you can follow the market in real time with a lot of indicators, warnings to avoid scams, price alerts, and many more features.
Juanma:
That is super useful as in crypto the amount of info is super difficult to track.
So, you are compiling all useful information to users in order to have the best info to make decisions

Can you share more about your team?
Frederic:
Of course
As I said previously, we started with 2 guys only, my partner Javier and myself, but soon we started to bring more people onboard thanks to the great results we achieved in short time, now we have 16 people working at DEXTools and the team is always growing, all thanks to our amazing community.
Most of the team are quality devs and also people passionated about crypto and technology. We have also a great group of admins at telegram and collaborators in our YouTube channel DEXTools Academy

It seems you have followed a hard path to achieve your goals. You have a quite interesting team!
What results have you guys achieved so far?
Frederic:
In the business side we released a lot of things lately, we started developing for ETH initially, but now we give support to 17 Blockchains more, including of course KCC that was one of the latest ones to be included, we are working on adding more in the next app update.
We also love to collaborate with other quality projects in crypto and we released a lot of partnerships in the last 2 years which we are very proud of, including: Coinmarketcap, Kyber Network, Unicrypt, Sushiswap, Velas , 0x Labs , Outer Ring…
These collaborations help a lot to strength the crypto ecosystem and it’s one of the best things we have in this business.
In other side, we have our great community and specially our premium community formed by the holders of DEXT, DEXT Force. From there our community launched one of the best ventures groups in DEFI right now. DEXT Force Ventures, that invested and helped to growth more than 40 projects in the last year, including Modefi, Faraland, Bloktopia, Kusamastarter, Metabrands, Numbers Protocol and many others.
Juanma:
That is amazing. You are among the top tools for crypto investors.
It’s incredible the amount of info you share.
Frederic:
Yeah, as a geek data we serve around 15TB of data every day.
Juanma:
What do you guys plan to do in 2022?
Frederic:
Our goal short term is to keep adding new chains, releasing new tools in the main app, and keep exploring new businesses. We plan to have our own launchpad for this year that I think it’s going to be a huge step for our ecosystem among other big things that are coming.
For development we check a lot the community feedback and the evolution of the market, so it’s hard to have a fixed roadmap like many other projects. We are always adapting and evolving.
Juanma:
I see. It is a never stop business with this industry.
Can you please briefly share with our community your token and the utility of it?
Frederic:
…Of course, our token DEXT is the utility token of DEXT Ecosystem, you can hold it to access our premium community (1000 DEXT for Standard Tier and 100k DEXT for DEXT Force Ventures) or to pay also a subscription to the app but you can always use the free version without having the token.
Soon we will increase the use of the token with other features in the app. The token is also tied to the success of DEXTools, we have a burning mechanism and from all the trades directly made with the DEXTools aggregator we buyback and burn 100% of the funds got from fees.
We also burn 90% of the fees got from subscriptions in the app. Last month, We burned more than 2M DEXT tokens already in the first 3 months since this program started, that should help to raise the token price in the midterm.
Juanma:
Good, that is a real utility token.
Mmm Frederic, what can we share with our community about DEXT token? Do we keep it SECRET or we SHARE??
Frederic:

How can people from KCC participate in your project?
Frederic:
KCC was one of the last networks to be included, with all the DEX of your network, Mojito, Kuswap and others, now all people can follow their trading there for free.
The best part is you will be able to pay subscriptions or hold DEXT in KCC very soon because we are bridging our token, DEXT to KCC.

Now, I have a very personal question as I identify myself with the average DeFi user.
How does the average (and not advance) DeFi user can take advantage of DEXtools?
Frederic:
That’s a very good question because may people that are not so advaced in terms of trading think they cannot use DEXTools but DEXTools is for all users that are into DEFI markets from new users to advanced users. One of the most important things we do is to have many indicators to prevent scams, as many of you know crypto and specially DEFI markets are full of scams because there is not a real verification of each token listed.
DEXTools is another layer of security that can help new users to avoid being scammed if you check a couple of simple parameters. One is the DEXT Score, in which we assign a number to every token based on the information they have public, it goes from 99 to 1, 99 is very high (more reliable) and 1 being lowest one ( not reliable).
Juanma:

And about the launchpad. That is interesting, with all the tools you have to track almost everything in the blockchain, what features will include?
Frederic:
As I said before we have one of the best ventures groups in the crypto space working right now with our community, DEXT Force Ventures. The launchpad is the next step in that business so quality projects can get more visibility and be funded by our community, and also our users will be able to invest in quality projects through the holding of DEXT token in a public Round. For us It’s a natural step.

Q1: Are you open to accepting KCC based projects for your Launchpad?
A: Hello, yes, our launchpad will be multichain (starting with EVM blockchains which includes KCC). So, all projects are welcome there.
Q2: Can you indicate some feature/features that you like best about your platform and you think will give it an edge to compete with other competitors and come on top 🔝? What are you most confident about your platform? Also, what plans do you have for users to choose your platform over your competitors?
A: Hello, I personally like a lot the warnings about frontrunning bots ( a thing that was unknown until we released the bot detectors), also the wallet info ( a standard tier feature) with which you can track and follow the wallets you like so you can check the traders, bots etc and have them saved in your profile to track their movements.
Q3: I hope users pay low fees. How will the platform use its own revenues?
A: The fees from trading are related to the network, that doesn’t depend on us. If you trade in ETH, you will pay higher fees (despite now are a bit cheaper), and if you trade in other networks like KCC or BNB fees will be lower. From our aggregator we take a small fee that is used to buy and burn DEXT tokens from the market.
Q4: Currently in my opinion one of the ways to attract more users would be to collaborate with youtubers or influencers, do you plan to develop this marketing strategy so that your project grows?
A: Hello, yes, we are currently working in our own YouTube channel, but we are also close to some influencers, FunonTheRide one of the biggest ones here in Spain released a video recently about us. Also, we were featured by IvanonTech, Chicocrypto and many others in the past. Reaching a big amount of people and users is always a priority.
Q5: As the space for DeFi has become more competitive, investors are now looking for safer and more reliable projects. What has DEXTools done to be a more secure platform? Also, what can we expect from $DEXT in the future?
A: First of all, we are decentralized in terms of data, you can login with your wallet and we don’t save any data from the users. Regarding funds, we don’t manage or custody any user funds so that’s not an issue in our side, we already saw many hacks to protocols in the past. In the legal side, we are a public team and a public company incorporated in Spain so that’s another layer of safety.
